Breiholz has completed over seventy projects at the Des Moines International Airport in the past 15 years. These projects have consisted of the terminal lobby area, administrative offices, multiple restroom projects, Concourse A and C remodels, restaurant remodels, lighting vault, and multiple exterior projects. Breiholz has been chosen for the last two remodels of the three main restaurants. The projects entailed a complete demolition and remodel of the current spaces. The projects had staggered scheduled to leave one restaurant open at all times. The projects were located on the “land side” and the highly secured “air side”. All field staff complied with the guidelines of the TSA and pass the identity checks. These projects sharpened our scheduling skills and our communication skills with our supplier and subcontractors because we completed over 6,000 sq ft finished in six months and three different locations. Their projects are an excellent representation of “team work”.
